Can I shop at innatura on behalf of my club?
Access has been deliberately kept low-threshold: your organisation simply needs to register once and provide proof of its charitable status by means of a tax exemption certificate. After that, you can select and order the products you need, just as you would in an online shop.
Instead of paying standard prices, you simply pay a small commission fee, saving between 80 and 95 per cent compared to buying from retail outlets. You can use the money for your core work or to develop additional services. At the same time, the environment and society also benefit – because fully functional goods no longer end up in the rubbish.
Possible areas of application
The purchases may be used as follows:
- Business equipment
- Purposes in accordance with the Articles of Association
- Distribution to those in need (free of charge; sale in charity shops or similar may be possible under certain circumstances)
- Gifts to volunteers within the usual tax limits
The following are excluded
- Resale
- Use for fundraising (e.g. raffles)
Examples of use
- Crockery and pots at a women’s shelter
- Coloured pencils for art clubs or children’s activities at museums
- Football for a sports club
- Hygiene products in the ladies’ toilets
- Printer paper for a club’s office
- Drill/lawnmower for the caretaker at the church or multi-generational centre
- Cake stand and cake server for the music society’s/choir’s bake sale
- Swimming trunks/swimsuits for swimming lessons (given away free of charge)
- School bags via the Friends of the School Association (distributed free of charge)
innatura’s service is aimed at all charitable organisations, initiatives and volunteers who wish to specifically strengthen their work through donations in kind.
New goods donated to clubs
Access has been deliberately kept low-threshold:
your organisation simply needs to register and provide proof of its charitable status. After that, you can select and order the products you need, just as you would in an online shop.
Instead of paying standard prices, you simply pay a small commission – usually between five and twenty per cent of the market value. The result: savings of up to 95 per cent compared to buying from retail outlets.
Money that would otherwise be spent on hygiene products or equipment can thus be used for counselling, support or additional services. At the same time, the environment and society also benefit – because fully functional goods no longer end up in the bin.
Several thousand organisations in Germany are already making use of this service – ranging from small associations to large social service providers.
